22 Nov 2006 - Rotary Dragon Boat Festival
Yesterday, Thursday 22 November 2006, the Air Ambulance gave us a fantastic fly past, landed at the helicopter pad at Northampton School for Boys, Cliftonville Road, and gave us a guided tour of their latest machine. This was arranged to enable us to present them with a £17,000 donation from the fund raised from the last Rotary Dragon Boat Festival.
I am pleased to report that the total amount raised is £35,000.
Each Club will now receive £4,000 for their Charity Account as their share on the residue. We should of course show in this years accounts that our Club's share of the WNAA donation was £4,250.
